Girl Meets Grub, A Restaurant Review

My first visit MetroFresh was early one cold Sunday morning. I was shooting near Piedmont Park and the Beltline with Quil when we decided to have brunch and get out of the cold.

MetroFresh was lined up next to Mellow Mushroom and Starbucks tucked away in the same shopping center as the Trader Joe's on Monroe.  It's bright and beautiful on the inside with hardwood floors and bright green accents.

The food is both creative and comforting while still swinging toward the healthier side of the spectrum.  I chose the Breakfast BLT which was Nitrate Free Bacon, Multigrain Toast, Tomato Jam (YUM!) Baby Arugula and Fried Eggs.  Quil had the Rocktstar Burrito chock full of mushrooms, eggs and peppers.  Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious.

MetroFresh offers Brunch on Sundays from 10a to 3p, we were there just after 10a, so there wasn't a wait at all, but there was steady traffic in and out. The staff was friendly and atmosphere lent itself to conversation and people watching. There were couples, families with little kids and even dogs and their people sitting out under the heat lamps on the patio. The location offers a Wine and Cappuccino Bar and I'm excited about checking out the Wine part of the Bar in very near future.

All in all, MetroFresh is a sweet little spot worth repeat visits.  Hopes to see you there!
